description

·          To work closely with the Press Officer to ensure excellent product placement across the consumer publications ranging from monthly glossies to nationals, online to regional
 
·          To be the first point of call for stylists and journalists
 
·          To manage booking in and out of all press samples loaned for shoots
 
·          To ensure that all own label brands are properly represented in the relevant publications
 
·          To help Press Officer with press and stylist appointments in the press showroom
 
·          To work closely with Press Officer and Buying team across all own label brands to ensure up-to-date knowledge of all new styles
 
·          To order all press samples through the buyers and to follow up on the orders to ensure they arrive on time
 
·          To monitor the whereabouts of all press samples and to proactively recall from publications on a regular basis
 
·          To collate weekly press cuttings, photocopy them and distribute internally
 
·          To manage the electronic photo library ensuring that all shots are clearly labelled with brand and style name

The successful individual will ideally be educated to degree level and must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a fashion and/or retail PR environment. Demonstrating an understanding of the PR function, you must also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive, proactive, can-do approach to work. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are also a must.
