Q: I saw this item in an advert but cannot find it on your site.

A:

This means that the product is temporarily out of stock or has been discontinued. We often take repeat deliveries of popular products and occasionally customers will return items to us that do not fit. We would advise you to keep checking the site to see if your desired item becomes available again.

Q: The product I ordered is now reduced. Can you refund me the difference?

A:
Unfortunately, we cannot advise you in advance of a reduced product or reimburse you the difference after you have placed an order.

Q: I need more information about a product.

A:

We include as much information as possible about a product on the product page itself. Usually, more detailed information like product sizing and materials should be found by using the more information link on the product detail page. If you need more detailed information, please contact our customer relations quoting the product name, colour and brand.

Q: Will you be getting any more in?

A:
Unfortunately some items will be out of stock or be removed from the site altogether if discontinued. Please be advised that our customer relations team can try and locate a shoe in one of our stores and arrange delivery for you. Deliveries


Q: Why am I being charged VAT when I live in the Channel Islands ?

A:
If you are living in either Jersey or Guernsey and you have put your registered country as the UK, you will need to change this to either Jersey or Guernsey.

Q: Can I pick up my order from your warehouse?

A:
Unfortunately it is not possible to pick up orders from our warehouse.

Q: How much will I be charged?

A:

Please note that currently we are only able to despatch goods to the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Q: Do you deliver to my country?

A:

Currently we only deliver to the UK (including Northern Ireland) and Ireland.

For deliveries to the Channel Islands please simply add your post code to the delivery address details on the checkout page and select your address from the drop down list.

For deliveries to Ireland again please add your post code to the delivery address details on the checkout page and select your address from the drop down list.

For deliveries outside of the UK, please contact our customer relations team from Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 17.30 via the below channels:

Q: Do I have to pay import charges?

A:
Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Q: Which courier company do you use?

A:
Kurt Geiger delivers goods by DPD UK (www.dpd.co.uk)

Q: Do you deliver to BFPO addresses?

A:
Unfortunately, we cannot currently deliver to BFPO addresses.

Q: Can you leave the delivery at an agreed hiding place?

A:
Unfortunately we are not able to pre-arrange "hiding places".
All orders require a signature and will not be left without one.
Goods will only be left at the specified shipping address and will not be left with neighbours.

 

Free returns


Q: Can I return to store ?

A:
We are now pleased to accept any return or exchange in any of our Kurt Geiger standalone stores.

A list of Kurt Geiger stores can be found here.

We are currently NOT able to accept returns in concession stores.

Q: How do I return goods for free ?

A:
We include a Freepost label with all our deliveries.

Simply attach the label to your parcel and take to your nearest post office.

There is no need to contact us when posting a return.

You will receive an email when your return is processed.

Refunds may take up to 2 weeks to reach your bank account.

 

Gift cards


Q: Can I swap my gift card for cash as I don’t want to buy in Kurt Geiger?

A:
No – gift cards can not be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.

Q: Can you tell me how much credit is on my card?

A:
Yes but only during a sales transaction.

Q: What can I use my gift card for?

A:
Cards may be redeemed to purchase any product sold within one of our participating UK locations.
It can be used to purchase items of a higher price than the balance on the card on payment of any difference.

Q: How long is the gift card valid for?

A:

A balance added to the card is valid for 24 months and will be forfeit if not used in that time.

 

Q: Can I keep the card even if there is no credit?

A:
Yes and it can be topped up again at anytime.

Q: Can I use more than one card per transaction?

A:
Normal gift cards can be combined up to the purchase price of the items being brought. However certain promotional cards will have restrictions on their usage, these will be made clear at time of issue.

Q: Can I use them in your international stores?

A:
The cards can only be used in participating UK locations:
Kurt Geiger High Street Boutiques
Kurt Geiger Shopping Centre Boutiques
Kurt Geiger Airport Boutiques
Kurt Geiger Sale Shops
Kurt Geiger Concession in William and Griffin

They can not be redeemed in our concessions within other department stores.
They can not currently be used to purchase product via kurtgeiger.com.

Q: Can it be in Euros as my friend lives near Printemps?

A:
Credit is only in £ Sterling and cards can only be used within the UK.

Q: Can you top up my gift card – does it then get a new 24 month expiry date?

A:
Yes cards can be topped up in any in participating UK locations and the 24 month expiry date is reset.

Q: My shoes are faulty I don’t have my original receipt can I swap them for a gift card?

A:

Yes, subject to our normal exchange without receipt policy.

Q: Can you post the gift card to me – can you add a gift message?

A:
Stores can not post gift cards, if you want a gift card posted to someone please use our website at www.kurtgeiger.com.

Q: Can my partner use the card? Can I transfer my card to another person?

A:
Cards are fully transferable; they can be used by whoever has the card.

Q: If I pay by gift card will I be refunded onto a gift card?

A:
Yes – refunds are always done to the payment method used for the original transaction.

Q: I thought I had £150 on my card, why is the balance only £75?

A:
The store will be able to show you the transaction history for the card.
Cards are protected by a stringent security regime however If you feel that a fraudulent transaction has been applied please contact Customer Services at the address below.

Q: Can I cancel my gift card?

A:
No, however if the card is unused for 24 months it will automatically be cancelled and any balance forfeited.

Q: I’ve lost / had stolen my gift card can you issue a new one?

A:
No – gift cards must be treated as cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

Q: Do they come in different designs/colours?

A:
Currently cards are only available in the one design/colour; however look out for special addition versions is the future.

Q: Can I use a gift card in any store/concession/online?

A:
The cards can be used in the following UK locations:

Q: How does verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode work?

You need to register your card with a password. You only need to do this once, then whenever you use the card to shop online you will be asked to enter the password when you check out.

Q: What is verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode?

A:

Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode are new services that protect your card details with a personal password, designed by the card issuing banks especially for customers who shop online to give added security. They allow you to create your own password, which only you know, to use every time you shop online using these cards.

Q: My email address/password is not recognised.

A:
  • Maybe you registered with another email address? It is often the case that people forget which email address they used to register with us. You must use the exact email address and password combination with which you first registered in order to log back in to the site.
  • Maybe you have forgotten your password? If so we can send you a new password to the email address you registered with. You need to select the my account link on the bottom navigation bar and select the forgotten password link on the right hand side of the screen underneath the "I have shopped with Kurt Geiger" login area.

Yes. As of 1st January 2010 VAT on the site is calculated at 17.5%.
