Tommy Ton collaborates with Kurt Geiger to launch new Solea collection with a unique advertising campaign.

Kurt Geiger has teamed up with fashion blogger and self-confessed shoe enthusiast Tommy Ton from jakandjil.com fame to shoot its new Solea brand campaign.

For Autumn/Winter 2009, Kurt Geiger's fledgling brand, Solea, has undertaken a new and exciting direction morphing itself from a quirky, earthy collection to a predominantly boot focused range that oozes laid back luxury.

Who better to capture the urban and cool attitude of the Solea collection then breakout hit Tommy Ton? The 25 year old fashion know-it-all launched his blog just over six months ago and already has 25,000 followers who swoon daily over his images!

Hot on the heels of the popular 'style hunter' formats, Ton’s blog, jakandjil.com, captures the style elite during various fashion weeks, making their way to and from the shows. From fashion editors, to buyers and models, Ton stays away from celebrities and instead shoots the true trend setters from around the globe. And to satisfy his addiction to shoes, Tommy focuses specifically on footwear!

For the Solea campaign Kurt Geiger enlisted Ton to prowl the streets and stalk the stylistas armed with the collection in his home town of Toronto. In keeping with this signature style – pictures in motion with the backdrop of textured flooring.
"Kurt Geiger first got in touch by email through the blog so I knew that they must know my work," says Tommy Ton. "It’s surreal how I’ve become known for this style of photography, but I'm ecstatic that such a great shoe brand as Kurt Geiger wants to work with me”
