Women’s Hero Trends

Trainers aren't going anywhere this season and our feet couldn't be happier! No longer just for the gym but a staple flat shoe in our off duty and occasion wardrobes, this trend is sure to see you through spring and summer in comfortable style.

The "runners" trend has pushed fashion to lean more towards a softer relaxed feel, allowing you to be comfortable in a Casual Couture style with a vast variety of sporting shapes to choose from. Saturated pastels are teamed with graphic slogans and pumped up sports soles as seen in KG Kurt Geiger ‘Lover’, whilst liquid metallics and clean white slip-on’s add a youthful balance to relaxed tailoring.

“This season is about accessories that add an energetic sports-luxe” says Creative Director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley.

SS16 is time to be playful and sports luxe styles are a staple that are here to stay. Occasion brands such as Self Portrait are teaming pretty lace dresses with sports sandals. By using the KG Kurt Geiger ‘Neutron’ with their collection, the influence from 1990s Kate Moss where satin dresses are teamed with the classic gazelle cannot help but be felt. The vibe is feminine yet cool.

These hero trends can be worn with almost anything, making them staple styles within your wardrobe this SS16. However you decide to wear them, be sure to show us through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
